Who runs this site
Cub Scout Pack 79 in Plano, Texas, a pack of Circle Ten Council, Scouting America. Volunteer parents run the pack and this site. The site does not have the endorsement of Scouting America, and it is not an official communication channel of Scouting America.
Signing in
Pack leaders, and parents whose email is in the pack’s family directory, can sign in with Google. Use only your own account and keep it secure. Leaders can see family information so they can run the pack: use it only for pack business, and follow Scouting America’s Safeguarding Youth rules. The pack can remove anyone’s access at any time.
Sign-ups and payments
The pack’s leaders set each activity’s details, prices and deadlines, and they can change; the activity’s page shows the latest. Payments are processed by Zeffy, and Zeffy’s own terms apply to them. For questions about a payment or a refund, email the pack.
Pack activities
Pack activities follow Scouting America’s rules, including the Guide to Safe Scouting. Signing up here doesn’t replace any registration, permission slip or health form an activity needs.
Using the site
Use the site only for what it’s for. Don’t try to reach pages or information that aren’t yours, don’t send spam or anything harmful through its forms, and don’t copy or share family information or photos of Scouts from it.
Content and trademarks
News, photos and other content on the site belong to the pack or to the families who shared them. Please don’t reuse photos of Scouts. Cub Scouts names, emblems and rank images belong to Scouting America.
Other websites
The site links to services the pack doesn’t run, such as Scoutbook, BeAScout, Zeffy, Google and Facebook. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there.
No guarantees
Volunteers keep the site as accurate as they can, but dates and details can change, and the site may sometimes be unavailable. The site is provided as it is, and to the extent the law allows, the pack and its volunteers aren’t responsible for losses from using it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
